First tried by the Public Health/Health Administration Section at the MLA 2009 meeting, MLA’s virtual meeting service (also called Mega-meeting) is a relatively inexpensive way (no, really!) for Sections to meet.  MLA’s virtual meeting platform allows up to 50 connections via telephone and online video.  Prices do fluctuate depending on the number of active connections. Section Council meets Saturday, May 22, 2010, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM in Georgetown East, Concourse Level.  Incoming Section chairs should plan to meet with Section Council chair Judy Burnham for an orientation to Section Council immediately after the meeting (2:30-3 pm).  The New Leaders’ Tea/Leaders Orientation begins at 3 pm (International Ballroom West, Concourse Level).
